The Income Tax raid at Kannada celebs and producers premises continued on the second day also. The list includes the names of actors Yash, Sudeep, Shivarajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar along with producers Vijay Kiragandur, CR Manohar, Puneeth Rajkumar and Rockline Venkatesh. According to reports, cars, offices and houses have been seized for the verification purpose. Even some reports suggests that raid took place because of the accumulation of black money in the Kannada film industry. Actor Yash, whose latest release KGF, is doing a wonderful business at the box office, immediately rushed to Bengaluru after knowing about the raid.

As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, he said, “I’m not afraid as I haven’t done anything wrong. We should allow IT officials to do their duty and not speculate anything.”
ANI tweeted, “I-T raids continue at residential premises and other locations of Kannada film producers Vijay Kiragandur, CR Manohar, Puneeth Rajkumar and Rockline Venkatesh. Raids also underway at locations of Kannada film actors Shiva Rajkumar, Yash and Sudeep.” The raids were carried out across 23 locations in the state and involved around 200 sleuths, the officials said.
