Total Dhamaal was recently under the scanner for restoring the original track Mungda. The original makers of the song slammed the makers of the film and also questioned Bollywood’s composers. Lata Mangeshkar was also one of the personalities who expressed her displeasure over the song.

However, when Ajay Devgn was asked about the controversy, the actor politely said that Lata Mangeshkar is a very senior artist in the industry and she has the full right to voice her opinion. In an interview with Bombay times Ajay Devgn said, “Lataji is very senior. I think a lot of people recreate songs and they don’t think like this. So, if she has gotten upset about it, she can come and slap us also. She has got all the rights to do so. I mean, it’s a fact, she can shout at us also. We’re ready to apologise if she has felt bad about something.”

Meanwhile, Total Dhamaal featuring Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Javed Jafferi, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Johnny Lever released today in theatres. Helmed by Indra Kumar, Total Dhamaal’s trailer left everyone excited for this comedy film.
