Kapil Sharma who recently arrived as a celebrity guest on Arbaaz Khan’s show Quick Heal Pinch stated that although he regrets of abusing the Spotboye editor, Vicky Lalwani, he states that he also regrets of not slapping him at that time.

Kapil Sharma said, “I agree that the language which I used was wrong. But that phase of one and half years was very depressing for me, people used to write anything about me which they want. I even started to drink a lot. I was not in my sense and when you are not in your senses you tend to go wrong. But let me tell you at that time many journalists were writing against me and why did I only abuse this one guy because I noticed that in the past six months he wrote 160 articles about me.”

He further added, “Articles such as I used to arrive late on the sets is so rubbish. You (Arbaaz) know the format of the show. If a celebrity arrives at 2, I have to arrive at 10 to rehearse with my team. I agree that the shoots have been canceled but I have never made anyone wait for so long.”

“I even knew why the said journalist is doing this and on whose saying. Now high court has said that forget about bad he can’t write even good stuff about me. Someone asked me that if I regret abusing him, I said yes I regret but I also regret of not slapping him at that time which I would have surely done if he would have met me at that time.” said Kapil. For those unaware last year in the month of April, an audio clip of Kapil Sharma and SpotBoye editor, Vicky Lalwani was put by the latter where the comedian can be heard using foul languages. Kapil stated that because of all the negative reports which SpotBoye was publishing about him without even cross-checking with him, he was highly affected mentally and emotionally.

On the work front, Kapil Sharma is now in a much better place. While he is happily married to Ginni, his show on Sony TV is also doing wonders.
