The Nawab of Bollywood, Saif Ali Khan has always lived life like a King size. Whether it’s living in the Pataudi palace in Lucknow or having exotic vacations in London and Switzerland, Saif has always lived his life royally. However, as one would have thought that money would be utmost important to Saif owing to his lavish lifestyle, the actor on the other hand feels that for him money is not the most important thing.
“Money to me means a little bit of security, a little bit of escape, enjoyment of life, security for family, this kind of things. It’s certainly not everything, it’s not the most important thing to me. I will never do a film just for money. Quality of life is important, friends, family, love, reading, education is important. You should know what you are happy with. I believe you don’t need too much to be happy. I like my little flat. I have lived in a palace, I have lived in a rented apartment and small apartments. Give me a good book and a little lamp in night, I am happy. Give me a big plasma TV I’ll watch it give me a small TV I’ll watch it. Thanks to my parents for putting this value in me.”
The actor further added that although he don’t miss living in Palace he definitely misses it as his father is buried over there. “I don’t miss living in the palace. I think life should be a mixture of city and country. Mumbai is a place where you come to struggle and earn. I have a terrace apartment also which is quite big but I live in a small flat. Because I feel like life is correct like that as my kid is next to me. I miss palace only because it’s home. I miss it because my father is buried there.”
