Los Angeles : Julia Roberts, who recently met Amal Clooney during a dinner, said she is captivated with good friend George’s wife. Roberts, 47, gushed over her in a new interview, reported Ace Showbiz.
When asked if she gave her “Money Monster” co-star her seal of approval when it came to marrying Amal, the actress said, “Oh yes, George doesn’t need my approval, but I’m quite enamored with her.”
The actress is also fond of “Money Monster” director Jodie Foster. “It was amazing. George and I were pinching each other. Like, ‘How did we end up with this brainiac girl? It was awesome!” the “Ocean Twelve” actress recalled of working with Foster.
In the interview, the “Notting Hill” actress is also asked about her 26th and final appearance on the “Late Show with David Letterman”.
“I’m just glad I got out of that building without weeping like a child. We’re all gonna miss David. He’s a beautiful person and he’ll still be a beautiful person, we just won’t see him every night,” she said.
