The moment a patient confronts the word cancer after the diagnosis, he/ she passes through a series of emotion starting from denial (not me), anger (why me), guilt (this is the result of my wrongdoings), dejection, depression and isolation. But the right knowledge, family and friends’ support and right treatment could save their lives,” says Anil Kumar, CEO, Axiommax Oncology.

Axiommax Oncology launched a music album titled, Hausala, a motivational song dedicated to cancer patients and cancer caregivers. The essence of the music number is to never lose hope and continuously heal the soul. The song has been sung by the ever popular Shaan in Hindi, Bengali and Marathi and by Vijay Prakash in Tamil and Kannada. The music has been conceptualised by Hitesh Mishra, director. “Hausala is an inspirational track to encourage cancer patients and caregivers with a feeling of strength, endurance and mostly, to never lose hope. Cancer today is curable and manageable. This gesture of goodwill will certainly go a long way to boost the morale of those who are suffering and give us all the satisfaction of sharing the emotions, the pain, the agony, the sufferings and the feelings of the cancer patients and their families,” says Shaan.

Healing story

In the song Hausala, the hero Jeet confronts cancer at the peak of his career and goes into total isolation, becomes paranoid and initially does not respond to any of the motivational efforts of his parents, grandparents and friends. Then his fiancée returns from the USA and take efforts to make him feel normal. He slowly starts getting out of his depression and ultimately comes out as a winner. “I am trying to do a little through my music for cancer patients, trying to motivate them and boost their willpower through my music. I want to show them that life is beautiful, cancer is preventable, and never give up. To have the will power and confidence within one can win against cancer. When words fail, music speaks. We want to reach out to millions of people to encourage them through our music and therefore we plan to compose the song in many more languages in our next phase,” concludes Hitesh.
