The actor who turns 54 today, has also been busy with humanitarian, social and political causes. Aamir debuted on TV with the show, Satyamev Jayate. And later in 2016 started the nonprofit organization ‘Paani Foundation’ to fight drought in rural Maharashtra.

Aamir during the recent season of Koffee with Karan also spoke about Ira and Junaid wishing to become part of the film Industry. And he had only one advice for them, “You should follow your heart and do what you want. But when the time comes for you to take your first step as an actor, if I feel that you are not good enough, I will tell you that on your face and I won’t actively do anything to support you.’ Because that will be unfair for the film and it will be unfair for the audience.”

On work front, Aamir recently said he is getting in shape for a new role, while reports suggest that the actor is set to make a remake of the classic, ‘Forest Gump’ which originally starred Tom Hanks.

Earlier, Filmfare reported that Aamir bought rights for the remake from Paramount Pictures and is now on-board for the project and will may make an official announcement soon.
