The MeToo movement has been one such topic which has divided Bollywood into many parts. While some section of Bollywood has openly applauded the victims coming out and sharing their ordeal, some has stated that unless and until the accused is not proven guilty no verdict or judgment should be given on them. However the good thing is, positive or negative, celebrities are coming out and are giving their view on this issue. One such actor who has still not spoken on the MeToo movement is Govinda and has now spoken about the sensitive issue is Govinda. The actor while promoting his upcoming film was asked about his opinion on the on-going movement.
Govinda without being much vocal about the whole issue, said, “After I left politics, I don’t touch controversial things as people should not think that I am joining politics again. I am a very hard and harsh person, I speak what’s there in my heart. But if you have got a platform where you can say the truth then it is not at all wrong. However the sad part is that a platform can be used and misused at the same time.”
Govinda whose last release was FryDay will be next seen in the film Rangeela Raja which is produced by Former Chairman of CBFC Pahlaj Nihalani.
