Rajesh Khanna and Shakti Samanta were the signatory authorities for the Producers Combine Association for operating the accounts, and hence the duo had many differences of opinion

From Rajesh Khannas diary of the past, sources close to him vouch for his disciplinary attitude. Also, Khanna was a humble person. Under condition of anonymity, one of his close associates says, ” Not many know that the signatory authorities for the Producers Combine Association for operating the accounts were Shakti Samanta and Rajesh Khanna.

After there were some differences of opinion between Shakti Da and Rajesh Khanna, the account now lies dead. During the last meeting held when Rajesh Khanna had gone to meet the ailing Shakti da, as soon as Shakti da requested him to sign some documents, he just got up and left without signing the documents.” The source added, ” The exorbitant amount is lying untouched until today.

Kaka, we can’t call him stubborn, the righteous man that he was very few are acquainted with this fact.” However, the source refused to divulge the differences of opinion that prevailed over the accountability issue. But he added, ” Let the money be lying there itself rather than being misused, Kaka had said while walking away from the room.” God alone knows what the fate of this untouched amount from the Pandoras Box of Producers Combine will foresee.
