Filmfare Awards 2019: Ranveer Singh, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon set the stage on fire

The 64th Filmfare Awards 2019 took place on Saturday, March 23 in Mumbai in the presence of many celebrities. From Ranbir Kapoor to Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukoneto Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif to Sonam Kapoor, all the A-listers were in attendance to the celebrate films and entertainment.

While many took home the awards, the performances were definitely off the charts. Ranveer Singh was on fire with his blockbuster medley performance on all his hit tracks. The actor made his grand entry on stage with ‘Mere Gully Mein’ followed by ‘Malhari’, ‘Aankh Marey’ and ‘Khalibali’. He was seen dancing with kids as well on ‘Gallan Goodiyaan’ as the audience cheered for him.

It was Vicky Kaushal’s first performance at Filmfare Awards 2019. The actor went full retro as he danced on several tracks of Amitabh Bachchan. The actor even got an opportunity to groove with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Main Hoon Don’. It was a dream come true for the newbie actor.

Janhvi Kapoor, too, made her debut on stage at Filmfare Awards as she grooved to the medley of songs including ‘Zingaat’, ‘Naina Da Kya Kasoor’, ‘Ghoomar’ among others. To support her, sisters Sonam Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, brother Arjun Kapoor and father Boney Kapoor were in the audience cheering for her.

Kriti Sanon was also one of the performers who definitely had a blast dancing to some of her hit tracks.

Ishaan Khatter and Sara Ali Khan took home Best Debut Actor and Actress awards respectively. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor and Actress awards for Sanju and Raazi whereas Ranveer Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana shared Best Actor Critics Award. Vicky Kaushal won Best Supporting Actor for Sanju while Best Film went to Raazi.
