This film tries to marry social media connection with tradition and ends up looking lost and disengaging. Eligible young man, Raj Kunwar Chaturvedi (Rahul Bagga) is set against arranged marriages but his tradition following family is not going to give in yet. Raj finds his love Kumari Baby (Nancy Thakker)on Facebook little realising that it’s all fitting in well with his father’s (Rajesh Sharma) plans for him.
Frankly, the probability of that happening is next to impossible unless the said girl is the only woman candidate on his networking platform. There are so many, more efficient dating platforms available on the internet and the writers fail to justify why they chose Facebook as the most likely one to bring the two together. It does seem like the writers of this story have little understanding of social networks and have concocted this story to tap into a fad. Neither the characters nor the situations they are dropped into seem real or have any distinctive engagement. The writing, as pointed out, is extremely sloppy, the performances fail to keep you interested and the music, editing, and cinematography have little appeal. Director Narayan K Sahu makes this a rather insipid and silly romance.
