Dhanush goes fully local in ‘Maari’ trailer

Chennai: After impressing critics and audiences alike in R. Balakrishnan’s “Shamitabh”, actor Dhanush has gone fully local, going by the trailer of his next Tamil outing “Maari”, which is slated for theatrical release on July 17.  In the film, Dhanush is said to be playing a local hooligan, who goes with the catchphrase “Will finish you off”.  The action-packed trailer features the “Raanjhanaa” star in a dhoti-clad, cigarette-smoking and twirled-moustache avatar.  Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. “Maari” is jointly produced by R. Sarath Kumar, Radikaa Sarath Kumar and Listin Stephen.
