Kesari that earned the highest on opening day, has earned Rs 78 crore on Box Office at the end of Day 3 despite IPL season. The film is ready to join the Rs 100 crore club just over the first weekend.
Akshay Kumar’s Holi release Kesari has made an estimated Rs 78.07 crore in four days and is now expected to hold its growth in the remainder of the week. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter announcing the weekend collection in a series of tweets.
He wrote:
The film, based on Battle of Saragarhi that is considered one of the world’s greatest last-stands, has left behind Akshay’s last release Gold that made Rs 71 crore in 5 days. Kesari directed by Anurag Singh also starred Parineeti Chopra.
