New Delhi: Amidst reports that have been making rounds that Karan Johar may rope in Deepika Padukone alongside Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra in his next film, the 30-year-old actress expressed her eagerness to work with the ‘Kapoor and Sons’ duo.
When the ‘Kapoor and Sons’ expressed their desire to share screen space with her, the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ star, who now is in Toronto to shoot for her Hollywood debut ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage,’ took to her Twitter handle to show her consent to the idea, reports the Express Tribune.
“Adorable! Can’t wait for that to happen!Congratulations to all of you & im going to watch the film here in Toronto!,’ she tweeted.
When asked about the news of their on-screen pairing, during an interview, the ‘Khoobsurat’ actor said, “I am not aware of any such thing.”
While Sidharth confirmed that although no such project is on the cards yet “it would be pretty exciting to work with Deepika”; to which Fawad added, “We all would be very excited to work with Deepika.”
Earlier Sidharth and Deepika were seen bonding together on Twitter where they expressed their wish to work with each other.
The 30-year-old actress, earlier last month, tweeted to Sid saying, “Chalo then, what are we waiting for?”
