Cannes 2018: Boney Kapoor, Janhvi and Khushi to attend Sridevi’s special salute ceremony at Cannes Film Festival

Legendary actress Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018, due to accidental drowning in Dubai. However, the veteran actress is still alive in everyone’s memories, and now she will be receiving special salute at Cannes Film Festival 2018.

Reportedly, the late actress will receive a special salute for her contribution in cinema at Titan Reginald F. Lewis Film Honours at Cannes Film Festival. About this special tribute, Boney Kapoor told Hindustan Times, “I’m happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, it’s comforting to know that she lives on through her work.”

As per reports, Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor will attend the Cannes Film Festival on May 16, 2018, for Sridevi’s special salute. Before this salute, Sridevi also received Best Actress Award at the National Film Awards this year for her performance in Mom, which was her 300th film.

Interestingly, her husband Boney Kapoor has already started preparing to make a film or a documentary on Sridevi. The maker has reportedly decided three titles for the film.
