Can you afford the most expensive ticket of Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’?

Salman Khan has been releasing his most awaited film, Bharat on Eid. The bonus gift was when he said he won’t be imposing a hike on the tickets this year. Every-year alongside the fact that the release is festive, prices also go high in the anticipation of Bhai’s film release.

While Salman opted out of a reasonable price, cinema halls in Mumbai have increased the ticket prices with a 20 percent hike. While one screens do have reasonable prices, they also provide a bare minimum cinema experience.

If you are a Salman Khan fan then you would choose to watch the film as he indented it to be watched with vibrant ambience, surround sound and a wide screen for the iconic scene when the shirt comes off. As it is an Eid week, the makers and the actor wish more people to be able to watch the film and enjoy the experience.

And if you wish to do that for you would have to pay Rs. 1500 for the best seat in town. Even if the hikes were not on the actor’s say, the amount seems to be at par with ‘Avengers: Endgame’ which was a global frenzy.

Bollywood Hungama reported, producer Atul Agnihotri isn’t aware of the development, but distributor Anil Thadani admitted that price hike during the festive period is regular practice. Even though the prices have sky rocketed, the number of people booking the tickets will not go down, since entertainment is not a luxury anymore, but a necessity just as much a Bhai’s film release on Eid is!
