Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming fantasy trilogy Brahmastra is said to have the lead actor Ranbir Kapoor’s character as a DJ. Earlier reports suggested that every person in the film will possesses superpowers as it was termed a “modern-day fairy tale”.
Now, a source close to Mid-Day reveals, “Ranbir plays a DJ who walks out of his house against his father’s wishes. The story then traces his journey as he tries to fulfil his dreams and discovers his superpowers in the process.”
Furthermore, there are rumours that suggest Kapoor’s character will have powers unleash from his palms. The actor has also undergone rigorous martial arts training for the same. “The film has some high octane action sequences. Ranbir trained in traditional Indian martial arts, including Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai, before the film went on floors in 2017,” adds the source.
Brahmastra also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The first installment of the fantasy trilogy is scheduled to release in December.
