Bollywood’s popular sibling jodis have always been facing comparison between each other. If the sibling duo works in the same profession, then media would measure their success by comparing them. Right now, popular brother Jodi, Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurana have been making their own successful ways in the field of acting. While Ayushmann is impressing everyone with his out of the box films, Aparshakti too is getting applauds for his comical act and supporting roles in popular films of Bollywood. Needless to say that media would always compare these successful brothers, but do you know how they share brotherhood in real life?
Well, Ayushmann and Aparshakti have always been praising each other’s work off-screen. Even though they didn’t work together in one film but whenever it comes to praising each other, they never miss any chance to grab the opportunity. As per Aparshakti, his elder brother Ayushmann is very strict at home. In an interview with Zoom TV, he said, “At home, he is a very strict brother like if I have a shoot next day, he makes sure that I sleep at 10 or 11. We don’t go out and party, we do that very occasionally, but he won’t let me sit at home and watch a movie or play a board game, he would remind me that I have a shoot constantly. He is a very typical older brother who is quite subtle and disciplined.”
Speaking about the rumours of a rivalry between them, he added, “I call him (Ayushmann) bhaiya out of respect, so there will never be a sense of rivalry ever. Moreover, he is in a very different space and I am in a very different space. He has been only guiding me in the right way because he has been around for a while.” In personal life, Ayushmann and Aparshakti also share a good rapport with each other’s wives, Tahira (Ayushmann’s wife) and Aakriti (Aparshakti’s wife).
When Tahira was diagnosed with cancer, not only Ayushmann but brother-in-law Aparshakti too gave her emotional support. On the occasion of Aparshakti’s birthday, Tahira shared a lovely post on Instagram with caption, “Happy birthday to the best brother-in-law in the world @aparshakti_khurana ! You by far are one of the most beautiful human beings I have met and there many more to vouch for it! You restore the faith in relationships, a reason why I wanted to have two kids. I am a single child and perhaps can never understand what it is like to have a sibling but having seeing you and @ayushmannk and the source of strength you are for each other was the biggest reason for us having two kids! We must say that Aparshakti and Ayushmann manage their personal life like a big happy family. On the work front, Ayushmann will next be seen Googly opposite Nushrat Bharucha. Aparshakti too will next be seen films like Rajma Chawal, Luka Chuppi and Jabariya Jodi.
