Watch Ranveer Singh console Pakistani fan, says ‘the team will be back next year’

Ranveer Singh who is currently shooting for the Kapil Dev biopic ‘83 in London, was spotted interacting with fans at the ICC World cup 2019 India Vs Pakistan Match. He also made his commentary debut alongside former ace cricketers Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag at the match and went on a selfie spree.

Videos and photos from his presence at the match went viral on social media, and one such video that recently surfaced shows the actors consoling a Pakistani fan because their team lost. The fan in the video looks visibly upset as Ranveer tells him not to be disheartened.

The actor in the video can be seen saying, “Put it there man put it there! There is always a next time.” as they hugged. He later added, “Don’t be disheartened. They played well, boys are committed, dedicated, professionals and they will be back.”

He also shared pictures with Virat Kohli post the victory and Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul, Virendra Shewag, Sachin Tengulkar and more. Ranveer will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev in the ‘83 which will document India’s victory against West Indies in 1983 World Cup.
