The video received mixed reactions on the photo-sharing app and several users trolled the actress for 'inviting' paparazzi.
A user wrote: "For something as cheap as raincoats MASSIVE MEDIA coverage...what a PR strategy!! she has turned this into a joke and ended up Joker herself @kajol !!"
"They're not even wearing the mask properly. Should be over mouth and NOSE. Giving bad examples," wrote another.
A comment read: "BMC employees are drawing good salary and can afford to buy raincoats, let her go to slums and distribute food clothes and raincoats there."
A fan commented, "I love kajol but this was not a good move from her side."
Meanwhile, on the professional front, the actress was last seen on screen in the digitally-released film 'Tribhanga', directed by Renuka Shahane. The film narrates the story of three generations of women.
