Bollywood actor Harshvardhan Rane is all set to star in the upcoming film "Haseen Dillruba" starring Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey.
The film is set in a small town by the river and rafting plays an integral part of the story.
Recently, Rane shared a video of cooking scrumptious breakfast as he camped out alongside a river.
He captioned it as, “What’s necessary is mostly less than what we think we need!”
The actor was last seen on screen in Bejoy Nambiar's "Taish", a revenge drama that dropped digitally last year.
The trailer of "Haseen Dillruba" gives a glimpse into the movie's engaging storyline filled with love, lust and murder, is sure to leave fans excited.
Talking about his co-stars in the film, Harshvardhan told ANI, "I am honoured to be in the same frame with some of our country's finest talent. Taapsee and Vikrant, have one thing in common I could never make out if they were joking or if they were serious. I always had to look for tiny nuances to understand the pretext."
Speaking about the project, he added, "Working on ‘Haseen Dillruba’ also gave me a chance to associate with the best filmmakers, be it Aanand L Rai sir, Vinil sir and Kanika ma'am. I was blown away with the script, a classic whodunit that will keep you guessing until the very end."
In the film, he is playing "an adventures guy who gets entangled in a bloody love story".
"It's an exciting co- incidence that I play a rafter in the film which is one of my favourite adventure sports. I even go to Rishikesh every year to do the same," Harshvardhan told IANS.
Directed by Vinil Mathew, the film has been written by Kanika Dhillon.
The murder mystery, which is set to premiere on Netflix on July 2, has been produced by Anand L Rai's Colour Yellow Production and T-Series.
