Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who was recently seen in Netflix's 'Ajeeb Daastaans', has said that she currently unemployed and hopes to get some work after the COVID-19 situation in the country subsides.

Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, who was recently seen in Netflix's 'Ajeeb Daastaans', has said that she currently unemployed and hopes to get some work after the COVID-19 situation in the country subsides.

Fatima was spotted by the paparazzi on Sunday, in Mumbai's Juhu area.

In a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, Fatima Sana Shaikh is seen interacting with the camerapersons.

When asked about her upcoming projects, the actress says in Hindi, "Once the covid situation settles and when everyone starts getting work, I will get work as well. Right now, I am unemployed."

The second wave of coronavirus has infected many people, and the number of COVID-19 positive cases has been rapidly rising.

Amid this, the Maharashtra government has suspended all shootings in order to curb the spread of the infection in the state.

Fatima started her career in acting as a child actress and acted in films like 'Chachi 420', 'One 2 Ka 4', and 'Tahaan'. Her breakthrough role came with the portrayal of Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan's 2016 release 'Dangal'.

The actress then went on to star in movies like 'Thugs of Hindostan' and 'Bittoo Boss'.

She had three releases amid the COVID-19 pandemic - 'Ajeeb Daastaans', 'Ludo' and 'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari', which was the first film to release in theatres when the lockdown eased.

As per reports, Fatima currently has an unannounced project with Anil Kapoor and a performance centric remake of Tamil film 'Aruvi' in her kitty.
