'Very awkward': Taapsee Pannu recalls watching films with 'lovemaking and explicit scenes' with her dad

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu is all set to set the screens ablaze with her charismatic performance in the upcoming thriller “Haseen Dillruba”.

The trailer, which was released earlier this month gave viewers a deeper look at the intriguing murder mystery.

The movie's engaging storyline filled with love, lust and murder, a brilliant background score, teases a love triangle, dark humour and a twisty whodunit.

During an interaction with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Taapsee was asked if she was ever caught watching "hot films".

The actress said that their family owned a single television set and sometimes when an intimate scene would appear onscreen it would lead to awkwardness.

Taapsee stated, "Dad mostly used to watch English action films. We had just one TV, so if dad would start watching, we'd have no option but to watch along. We didn't go out to watch films, per se. It's normal to have a lovemaking, or a certain kind of explicit scene. But it becomes very awkward when it's next to your teenage daughters. So, both of us are sitting there, and it's almost like all of us have started sweating, trying to understand who should do what."

She further mentioned that they would break away by surfing other channels or leave to have some water.

"Stuff like this has happened to me, but not like anyone has caught," added Taapsee.

"Haseen Dilruba", directed by Vinil Mathew also stars Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane. It will be released on Netflix on July 2.
