Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan recently turned muse for celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra for his “Nooraniyat 2021 Collection”.
According to Manish, the collection is developed on the ethos of tradition, but influenced by the present, the new world. Each garment proposes a new and individual visual expression and explores a possibility of a free monologue.
Sara looked bespoke and regal as she flaunted the black and silver ensemble. Her look was kept minimalistic to let the ensemble outshine. She wore only one piece of jewellery which was a large nose ring.
She captioned the pictures as, "Your eyes are the windows to your soul."
The nose ring takes us back to Sara’s mother and veteran actress Amrita Singh’s wedding to Saif Ali Khan.
Saif Ali Khan was married to actress Amrita Singh for 14 years before heading for a divorce in 2002.
The duo are parents to Sara and Ibrahim.
The 'Jawaani Jaaneman' actor tied the knot with Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012 and welcomed a baby boy Taimur Ali Khan in 2016, and another son in 2021.
Sara who shares a close bond with Amrita told IANS that her mother there are days she does not feel positive, and that it is when her mother, becomes key to all her solutions.
"There are days when I don`t feel positive. It`s normal. That is the part and parcel of life but I think I have a great mother and I think she is the solution to all my problems. With a mother like that it is impossible to be any less than positive," Sara, daughter of actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan, told IANS.
The actress, whose last release was "Coolie No 1" with Varun Dhawan on a digital platform, said that Amrita has "gone through" a lot.
"I think she has gone through so much more than I have in her life and if she can walk the way she does with her head held as high as she does as her daughter, then I would be worthy of your compliment," Sara said.
Ever since her debut in the 2018 release ‘Kedarnath’, Sara has worked with bigwigs such as Abhishek Kapoor, Rohit Shetty and Imtiaz Ali.
Sara will next be seen in "Atrangi Re", co-starring Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Nimrat Kaur, and directed by Aanand L. Rai.
"Atrangi Re" is written by Himanshu Sharma and is billed as a cross-cultural love story.
