Netizen asks if Irrfan Khan is holding a 'joint' in this picture; son Babil gives a befitting reply

Late actor Irrfan Khan's son, Babil, maintains an active social media presence. He often shares throwback photos and videos with his father and pens emotional captions.

On Wednesday, Babil shared another set of throwback photos with the 'Angrezi Medium' actor and they are all things emotional.

Taking to Instagram, Babil wished Irrfan was 'here to witness' him working hard.

In the first picture, Irrfan is seen on a film set with director Homi Adajania. He is also seen petting a calf in one of the pictures.

In the next two pictures, the late actor is seen with Babil. He captioned the post, "I’ve been working so hard man, wish you were here to witness."

Moments after he shared the post, celebrities posted heart emojis in the comments section.

However, in one picture, Irrfan is seen sitting with young Babil with a cigarette in his hand. A user noticed that and asked if that "was a joint?" The same didn't go down well with Babil and he gave a befitting reply.

He wrote, "I don’t know where you saw a joint tbh, but if it’s your own desires pulsating through; best of luck. No joints here buddy."

Babil regularly shares posts about his late father on Instagram. He also gives his fans regular updates on his life.

Recently, he shared pictures of family members including mother Sutapa Sikdar and brother Ayaan Khan.

Irrfan Khan passed away in April last year, after a long battle with cancer. He was 53 when he breathed his last.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Babil is set to make his debut in Anushka Sharma's upcoming production titled 'Qala'. He has wrapped up his first shooting schedule. The film also stars 'Bulbbul' actress Triptii Dimri.
