Actor Ajay Devgn is the latest celebrity from B-Town to make a property investment in Mumbai. After Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Sonakshi Sinha, Devgn has reportedly bought a sprawling bungalow in Juhu for around Rs 60 crore.

The bungalow, spread across 590 sq yards, is not far from the actor’s existing bungalow, Shakti.

According to a report in TOI, the actor’s spokesperson confirmed that he was property hunting for the past one year.

The locality has several other B-town stars residing too, including Big B, Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan.

The actor's new property was previously owned by Pushpa Valia. The TOI report further stated that the existing rate of the bungalow is around Rs 65 to 70 crore, but due to the pandemic, Devgn may have bought it at a discounted rate.

It was recently reported that actor Arjun Kapoor, who has been enjoying the success of films like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Sardar Ka Grandson, has treated himself to a brand new property in Bandra. He has bought a swanky 4BHK sky-villa.

Bandra houses some of the biggest names in Bollywood — from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and others.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Devgn is a part of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming RRR, also starring Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ram Charan in the lead roles.

He also has other films like Maidaan and MayDay in his kitty.

While the makers of Maidaan refuted reports of a digital release sometime back, sadly enough, the set of the sports-drama had to bear the brunt of Cyclone Tauktae. A few days back, producer Boney Kapoor had said he will have to rebuild the set for the third time now. He first had to dismantle it during last year’s coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown.
