Irrfan Khan's son Babil shares throwback photos with parents, recalls 'best Holi celebrations' of his life

Late actor Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan on Saturday took a trip down memory lane and shared unseen pictures with his father.

Taking to Instagram, he recalled the 'best Holi celebrations' of his life which were at the house of Jaansi Dhulia, the daughter of director Tigmanshu Dhulia.

In the first candid picture which he posted, Babil can be seen standing and looking at something while Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu Dhulia smile at the kid. Another picture sees Babil perched in his mom, Sutapa Sikdar’s arms with Irrfan next to them.

He captioned the post, "I remember the best holi celebrations of my life at Jaansi’s house."

Reacting to the post, actor Achint Kaur wrote, "Memories are all we have... splendid."

Gully Boy actor Vijay Varma commented, "I’ve been to one at Tishu sirs office where I met Irrfan saab. The best holi happens there for sure."

Fans also took to the comments section and showered love and compliments on Babil.

Babil, who is quite active on Instagram, often shares throwback pictures and videos of the late actor.

Recently, he gave fans a glimpse of his childhood and also revealed that he is single in response to a question posed to him about the status of his relationship.

A few days back, he shared a picture of young Irrfan and captioned the post, "Hey man, I am so lost. I can’t figure out who to trust. I doubt my self, you know? I’m insecure, I’m frightened by the prospect of a godless world. My mind is in war with my gut, I am hopelessly falling In love with attention, I am hopelessly heartbroken that it’s all for nothing."

Irrfan Khan passed away in April 2020 after a two-year-long battle with neuroendocrine tumour.

Earlier this year, Babil had expressed during the Filmfare Awards 2021 that he was set to learn acting from his father after returning from film school but his father passed away soon after he came back. He even broke down while receiving the awards for his father during the show.

On the work front, Babil is all set to make his acting debut with the Netflix film Qala. The film is directed by Anvitaa Dutt and also features Tripti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee. It is produced by Anushka Sharma's Clean Slate Filmz.
