Actress and mom-to-be Lisa Haydon is all set to welcome her third child - a baby girl anytime this month. Ahead of the special day, Lisa’s gal pals organised a dreamy baby shower that was filled with cake, wine and laughter.
Sharing the pictures, Lisa took to Instagram and wrote, “One of the most special days... Five friends planned a baby shower to welcome baby girl. I may have given them some reference photos (not a control freak at all) BUT, this decor was above and beyond- true friendship, making baby shower dreams come true. Baby girl you are so loved!”
Sharing another set of pictures holding a glass of wine, Haydon wrote, “Disclaimer: no wine was consumed by me while taking these photos. Can’t wait to stomp grapes in New Zealand and celebrate a very Indian Summer on your vineyard."
Lisa, who is married to Dino Lalvani, has a four-year-old son Zack and welcomed her second son Leo in 2020.
"Having a kid opened my eyes to a whole new world and way of living and one’s priorities may change. But it’s up to each individual and what they want to make of it. I was filming a web series till I was five months pregnant. I did the cover of Vogue India with Hrithik (Roshan) when I was four months pregnant… I believe that we are finally arriving at a place where women don’t need to have career apprehensions towards starting a family. You can have it all. You might have to run a tight ship and have the occasional meltdown, but it’s all good,” Lisa told IANS.
"Hopefully, my baby making phase might come to a pause for a few years. And yes, then hopefully you'll see me in the movies," Lisa told PTI in 2019.
The ‘Queen’ actor announced in March this year that she’s going to have a baby girl.
Speaking about how she’s been feeling health wise, Haydon told Harper’s Bazaar India that she can tell when she’s close to delivering.
She shared, “Physically, the last few weeks come with aches and pains, and the usual sleeplessness and breathlessness. Emotionally, I can always tell when I am close to delivering because I am suddenly filled with a surreal feeling. It is almost like I disconnect from the stresses and issues of everyday life.”
