'Bachana Ae Haseeno' actress Minissha Lamba finally addressed rumours of undergoing plastic surgery to maintain her ‘girl-next-door look’.
Calling them "ridiculous" Lamba told RJ Siddharth Kannan that it never happened.
She said, "No, not at all. Girl-next-door look maintain karne ke liye plastic surgery karna… I mean, that is ridiculous. But I would say no.”
When asked if it affected her in any way, Minissha replied, "As an actor, you are used to rumours. Rumours come out all the time and if you are in this line, you have to be thick-skinned.”
The actress, known for films such as 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd', hasn't been seen in a film since 2017.
Minissha has reportedly said that she is actively looking for OTT roles, but noted that she hasn't received any interesting offers in the last couple of years.
She also tried her hands on the small screen and was seen participating in Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss' and in daily soaps like 'Tenali Rama' and 'Internet Wala Love.'
The actress was also part of a play called ‘Hello Zindagi’, which was written by actress Smita Bansal and was performed in New Delhi in March.
Earlier this month, Minissha launched her own application, which focuses on providing her fans a scope to engage directly with her via chats and video calls.
The actress, who was last seen on the silver screen in 2017 film ‘Bhoomi’, also wants her fans to stay safe during the tough times of Covid pandemic.
"I pray and wish for everyone to stay safe during these times. It's been tough and let's stick to protocols to the best of our abilities," she says.
