'Exaggerated fantasies achieved with steroids and growth hormones': 'Rang De Basanti' actor Siddharth takes a dig at ripped Bollywood stars

Actor Siddharth, who is known for being vocal in his criticism of various issues, on Monday took a dig at ripped Bollywood actors.

He has always been quite vocal when it comes to sharing his opinions and he has often been trolled for sharing them on social media.

Earlier today, Siddharth remembered legendary actor and wrestler Dara Singh on his death anniversary.

Replying to a tweet by a user, that features young Dara Singh's pictures, Siddharth tweeted, "This is how real strong men in cinema used to look back in the day. Today you see exaggerated fantasies that look nothing like what a body should. And achieved with steroids and growth hormones to boot. Remembering real #DaraSingh."

"Work out. Don't sell out. #BodyImage #Reality," he added.

However, his tweet received mixed reactions from fans and followers. While some agreed, others trolled him for his opinion.

"Crying Baby, thinks Just injecting Steroids and Hormones make a Body," a user commented.

"Are you even close to this body type? And do you even understand how these hormones affect the body? I still don’t understand how come you actors start giving health related advice on internet without knowing about the how hormones work, which gland is involved," wrote another user.

"This idiot is one of those who think that to praise one person you need to put down others," read one of the responses.

"Finally sme1 speaks about Steroids usage in Bollywood," commented a user with clapping hands sign.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddharth was last seen on big screens two years ago in the film 'Aruvam'. If reports are to be believed, the actor has signed his next for which he will be teaming up with director Balaji Mohan.

The official announcement regarding Siddharth's new film is expected to be made soon, and the film will go on floors in September.

Siddharth had recently completed shooting for the Tamil-Telugu bilingual 'Mahasamudram'. He also plays a crucial role in Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2'.
