Post her stint on the show, Rhea auditioned to be a VJ on the channel, and given her beautiful face, talkative nature, and charming personality, Rhea got through.
Only a teenager back then, she began to host a number of programs, including 'Gone in 60 seconds,' in which she was joined by Ayushmann Khurrana in one of the segments. Later, she also featured in a music video with Ayushmann titled 'O Heeriye'.
Rhea had become quite popular among younger viewers and in the year 2012, she made her film debut with the Telugu film 'Tuneega Tuneega.'

According to media reports, Rhea had also auditioned for the role of Anushka Sharma in 'Band Baaja Baara' but was rejected.
