Athiya Shetty in England with rumoured beau KL Rahul? Latest Instagram post leaves fans speculating

Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty's latest Instagram post set tongues wagging on social media on Tuesday. Fans believe that Athiya is is currently in England with her rumoured boyfriend, Indian international cricketer KL Rahul.

Team India is in Southampton, England for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, which will be followed by a five-match Test series against the hosts.

On Tuesday, Athiya Shetty uploaded a black-and-white picture where she is seen posing in an open field. The background of the 'Motichoor Chaknachoor' actress' post is purportedly the same as one of KL Rahul's latest pictures from Southampton.

Reacting to the picture, a user asked, "Are you in the same place as kl sir?"

"Cleaver Athu. B/W picture so that we don't see the background. Athu keep on sharing hints we are loving it," commented another.

"Pakka in England can say from ur backgroud," read a comment.

Athiya and Rahul haven't officially admitted to dating each other. however, they often share special social media posts for each other.

On the work front, Athiya was last seen in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. According to reports, she is all set to play the lead role in Hope Solo, footballer Afshan Ashiq's biopic.

The Indian men's and women's cricket teams departed for the UK, for the WTC final and England series, on June 2 and after arriving in London, both teams moved to Southampton to undergo hard quarantine.

India and New Zealand will lock horns in the finals of WTC at the Ageas Bowl, beginning June 18. While the women's team will square off against England in one-off Test, three ODIs, and three T2OIs.

The Indian players will get a 20-day break from the bubble life in the UK after the completion of the World Test Championship final in Southampton.
