Actress Kirti Kulhari, who recently announced separation from husband Saahil Sehgal after 5 years of marriage, in an interview said that she will not get married again as she feels she isn't 'someone who is made for marriage'.
The 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' married Saahil Sehgal in 2016. The duo parted ways earlier this year and announced their separation in April.
In a recent conversation with SpotbooyE, when asked about her plans of marrying again, Kirti said that she has understood that she is not someone who is made for marriage.
The 'Pink' actress added that she's, however, open to being in a relationship.
"If you ask me if I will be in a relationship ever again, of course I would be. That part is very clear, as I have the clarity that I don’t need to be married to be with someone. So, mostly I don’t think I will ever get into it again," she was quoted as saying.
The 35-year-old had announced a separation through an Instagram post.
It read: "A simple note to let everyone know that my husband Saahil and I have decided to separate. Not on papers, but in life. A decision that's probably harder than the decision of "being with somebody", because coming together is celebrated by everyone you love and care about."
"And the decision of "not being with somebody" brings along pain and hurt to the same people. It's not easy. Guess it is not meant to be easy but IT IS WHAT IT IS," she had written.
"To all those who really care, I am in a good place and hope everyone who matters in my life is too. Will not be commenting further on this. Upward and Onward... Always," concluded the post.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kriti Kulhari recently starred in 'Shaadisthan'. The film that streams on Disney+ Hotstar VIP also features Medha Shankar, Rajan Modi and Nivedita Bhattacharya in key roles and Kay Kay Menon in a cameo.
