Bollywood keeping Prabhudheva away from Tamil films

Actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva, who is known for making films like ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘R…Rajkumar’ along with Tamil films such as ‘Pokkiri’, ‘Villu’ and ‘Vedi’, says that his busy career in Bollywood has kept him away from Tamil filmdom for quite some time now. But he adds that he soon plans to direct a Tamil movie.

Prabhu said in an interview, “I’m not avoiding the Tamil film industry because I’m making Hindi films. It’s just that I’m extremely busy with Bollywood commitments. As soon as I complete shooting them, I wish to direct a Tamil film.”

Talking about his ongoing project the filmmaker, who is currently busy wrapping up Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Action Jackson’, revealed, “Just about 10 percent shoot of the film is left. We have three more songs to shoot. We plan to head to Australia to shoot them,” he said.

Meanwhile Prabhudheva is also acting in the movie ‘ABCD 2’ in which he plays an important role. Talking about ‘ABCD 2’ he said, “It’s fun matching steps with younger actors. It gives me the confidence to keep going.”
