A few days back Ajay Devgn announced his role in ‘Chanakya’. Now it seems, the actor is ready to star in more flicks of the biopic genre. A recent addition to his film signing spree is an untitled biographical sports drama directed by Amit Sharma. The film is based on legendary Indian Football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
Director Amit Sharma recently finished the shoot of his debut film ‘Badhaai Ho’ starring Sanya Malhotra and Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is co-produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios and Fresh Lime Studios.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn is soon to be seen in an untitled urban rom-com. The film will the debut directorial venture of known editor Akiv Ali and will be produced by ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ director Luv Ranjan. The film will also star Rakulpreet Singh and Tabu and will talk about modern day relationships. It is set to hit the screens in October during the Dussehra weekend.
Post this, Devgn will be seen in ‘Total Dhamaal’ which features the ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Jaaved Jafferi. Directed by Indra Kumar, the film is slated to release on December 7.
