Sanjay Dutt is on parole these days as his wife, Maanyata is unwell. But the filmmakers who have completed most of their films with Dutt are under stress about the fact that their films have been stalled as the dubbing is still pending because of Sanjay not being around. With films like ‘Peekay’ and ‘Unglee’ to go into post production, the makers are having a hard time figuring what could be done about the actor’s pending dubbing once he returns
A source close to the film said, “Though the film was shot in the sync sound style, Mr Dutt never wore the lapel mic for voice recording as he was uncomfortable with it. Now the film’s producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajkumar Hirani, are keen that he complete his dubbing before he returns to jail.”
Filmmakers had turned one of Dutt’s rooms into a dubbing theatre when he was dubbing for his films ‘Policegiri’ and ‘Zanjeer’. Now if nothing works out, the makers are planning to do the same for the dubbing of his pending films.
Talking about his next venture with Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raj Kumar Hirani for the third instalment in the ‘Munnabhai’ series, the makers have already started work on the film and would be prepared for it as soon as the actor finishes his jail term. Not just this, Rajkumar Hirani is also penning a biopic on the actor. We hope Sanjay Dutt finishes his jail term soon and we get to see him in his most lovable form, Munnabhai…
