Beyonce pays tribute to Nicki Minaj

Los Angeles: Singer Beyonce has shared a clip of her crooning Prince’s “Darling Nikki” as a tribute to rapper Nicki Minaj. The 34-year-old “Deja Vu” hitmaker shared the video a week after she and Minaj, 32, came together on stage for the first live performance of their collaboration “Feeling Myself”, reported Aceshowbiz. In her version of the song, Beyonce replaced original lyrics with ones inspired by Nicki. “I met this girl named Nicki I guess you could say she was the rap queen. I met her in the studio lobby but her booty looked bigger in the magazines.” Responding to the tribute song, Minaj posted the clip on Twitter and wrote, “Bey has spoken #RapQueen #QueenBey my #bayBey Still have the #Tidal kisses to all my QUEENS.”
