The actor, who was in Gujarat, was made to fly back to Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, to complete some patchwork of a song from ‘Bewakoofiyan’ co-starring Sonam Kapoor, in the middle of the night. Khurrana had an early morning flight the next day for Haridwar as he begins his next film with YRF, called ‘Dum Lagaake Haisha’, directed by SharatKataria.
A source close to the actor informed, “Ayushmann and Sonam were suddenly called on Tuesday night for a bit of a song sequence. Ayushmann had just landed in Mumbai from a long shooting of Vibhu Puri’s ‘Bombay Fairytale’ in Gujarat. And Sonam had taken time off from work to devote two weeks to her cousin’s wedding. Both Ayushmann and Sonam had to rush to do the ‘Bewakoofiyan’ shooting on Tuesday night.”
This boy has come a long way from being a ‘Roadie’, a VJ, an anchor, an actor, a singer and now a YRF star.
Naturally, Ayushmann isn’t being unduly hassled… “It can’t be helped. It’s all part of the dream that I had nurtured – of being so busy that I have no time to sleep. Now that it’s happening I am rubbing my eyes, and not just in disbelief but also for lack of sleep. I barely touched down on Mumbai from Gujarat when I had to rush for the patchwork shooting of ‘Bewakoofiyan’. And now I am off to Haridwar for ‘Dum Lagaake Haisha’. I am hardly in Mumbai. I live my life out of a suitcase. My wife joins me here when there is an awards function or a special event to attend. My son thinks his father lives in the television set and comes out to visit him once in a while.”
Well, Ayushmann this is how dreams feel when they become reality, we guess.
