Bharatiya Janata Party yesterday took the big win at the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 and is being showered with love by the film fraternity. Amid the celebration what people didn’t expect was filmmaker Anurag Kashyap to bring to light a serious matter where one of Prime Minister’s followers sent rape threat to his daughter.
Kashyap who has never held back when criticising the government, took to social media, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and asked how to deal with such followers. He wrote, “Dear @narendramodi sir. Congratulations on your victory and thank you for the message of inclusiveness. Sir please also tell us how do we deal with these followers of yours who celebrate your victory by threatening my daughter with messages like this for me being your dissenter.”
He also shared the image of a comment of a person on his daughter’s picture. The comment had abusive language and suggested heinous crimes towards his daughter.
Another Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit reacted to Anurag’s tweet and claimed the picture was photoshopped. He also went on to say if it is true he should file and police complaint and not helplessly crib to the PM.
“This twitter handle seems to be photoshopped because it doesn’t exist. Seems to be created by an #UrbanNaxal to give an opportunity to somebody to abuse #Modi when the entire World is happy.”
Anurag Kashyap shocked at Pandit’s earlier response lashed out and wrote back, “Search for it on Instagram not on twitter you moron .. this is my daughter getting a threat a**h*le.”
However Pandit did not stop at that, he went out to call him a drunk who is so shocked with the election results that he is now abusing him through drunk texts.
