Alia Bhatt offended by Kiku Sharda’s jokes on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’? Comedian clears the air

Alia Bhatt is busy promoting her forthcoming release Kalank along with her co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha. The four recently shot for an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show. The actors also share behind the scenes action on their social account with smiles. Now reports suggest, Alia was upset with some of the jokes during the show cracked by Kiku Sharda.

While shooting for the Ke Bhail Crorepati segment, it is said that Alia got offended when Kiku made a joke asking ‘How does a scooter start?’ and saying ‘Bhatt, Bhatt, Bhatt…’

Another joke mentioned in the reports was when Kiku took a dig at Mahesh Bhatt’s film naming gift. He asked her if her dad is into the construction business. When she answered ‘no’, Kiku said, “Then why did he make movies like Footpath and Sadak.”

However Kiku did clear the air about the rumours when he spoke to Pinkvilla, he said, “This is just a rumour. She has enjoyed a lot on the show. I have no idea how this rumour started, but if you watch the episode, you will see how much she has enjoyed on the show.”

Kiku went onto add, “Alia is a very sporting person and has laughed a lot on the show.” Well, that clears that the reports are untrue.

The episode in question will supposedly air on coming Saturday on Sony TV at 9:30 pm. While Alia’s Kalank is set out to release on April 17, 2019.
