Mumbai: His last production ‘Welcome Back’ that released in September last year. Now we hear that Firoze Nadiadwala will soon be commencing work on his next venture which is said to be a sequel to the 2002 film ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’.
Interestingly we hear that the film which will in all likelihood feature Akshay Kumar top lining the cast will be directed by choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan. While details of the film are currently unavailable, we hear that joining Akshay in the film will be Vidyut Jamwal whose last release was ‘Bullet Raja’ in 2013.
Though confirmation on the same is awaited, it is learnt that shooting is expected to start in August this year. If that wasn’t enough, we hear that T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar who had earlier expressed his desire to work with Akshay in the near future, will most probably join the project as a producer. However, unlike ‘Airlift‘, for this venture Akshay Kumar’s remuneration will be paid a flat fee and not be based on a profit sharing ratio.
