Umaid Bhawan Palace seems to have become a favourite wedding destination of Bollywood celebrities. We all know that Priyanka Chopra will marry Nick Jonas on December 2 at this lavish palace but PeeCee is not the only one. As per reports, veteran actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s daughter Shruti will also marry at the same place. Shruti will tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend Rohit Navale on December 17.
Shruti had got engaged to Rohit in August this year. As per DNA reports, Shruti’s wedding will be a two-day affair with sangeet and mehendi functions. On December 16, there will be a mehendi and sangeet ceremony followed by a haldi ceremony and wedding the next day. Reports further state that the dress codes for the various functions are different. The dress code for the sangeet will be western and for haldi it will be ethnic. Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s former co-star Aamir Khan is also expected to grace the wedding.
Coming back to Priyanka and Nick’s wedding, the couple will get married on December 2 in two different ceremonies. One will as per Christian rituals and the same will be followed by a Hindu wedding ceremony. The pre-wedding ceremonies will start off from November 29 with Mehendi and Sangeet. A Haldi ceremony will be held on November 30 and it will be followed by a cocktail party for family and friends, the next day. All the occasions will be held at the grand and royal Umaid Bhawan Palace at Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
