Katrina Kaif is set to be a part of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Bharat’. The actress, who was seen with Salman Khan in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, will share screen space with Priyanka Chopra in a film for the first time. Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani are already a part of ‘Bharat’ and will play important roles in the film. With addition of Katrina, ‘Bharat’ will now have three actresses in the lead.
A source from the film informed a leading portal, “It’s not known how or where she (Katrina) will be found in the plot. But she is definitely a part of ‘Bharat’ in a very significant way. See, Ali Abbas Zafar (director) is a very close friend of Katrina. She was the leading lady in his first film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and they have remained close friends since then. Priyanka was the female lead in Ali’s ‘Gunday’. He is close to both the stunners and will ensure they are given ample space in ‘Bharat’, although it would be an out-and-out Salman Khan film.”
According to reports, Katrina will be seen opposite Salman in the film and is set to play an important role. Also, her role will not be as big as that of Priyanka but will be a crucial part of the film. ‘Bharat’ is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and is an adaptation of a South Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’.
