Bollywood celebrities are on a roll getting their wax statues erected at the famous Madame Tussauds. It hasn’t been that long since B-Town stars including Kajol, Diljit Dosanjh were getting in line for their wax statues, and until yesterday it was Deepika Padukone as well. Now, joining the wax club is Shahid Kapoor.
The Padmaavat co-stars have had their measuring sessions back-to-back. Yesterday, Deepika went on Facebook Live to announce achievement of getting a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London. She also posted a series of photographs on Instagram with the measuring tools.
Shahid announced the news on his Instagram account by posting the picture of holding an eyeball for a measurement and captioned it, “Keep an eye out. Coming soon.”
He didn’t give the hint as to in which Madame Tussauds he will get his wax statue. Still, this is indeed a huge achievement for the actor.
On the work front, Shahid will be next seen in Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, and also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screens on September 21. Post that, Shahid will start shooting for Telugu film Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake of the same name.
