While we are still not cleared whether Disha Vakani will continue to portray the role of Daya Ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, recently there were some reports which stated that Disha’s brother Mayur who plays the role of Sundar lal in the show might also leave.
However Mayur has squashed all the reports and has stated that he is very much a part of the show and will continue to do so till the show runs on Television. While speaking to Telly Chakkar, Mayur said, “Taarak Mehta is my favourite show, and along with being a part of the show, I am also an avid watcher. I don’t know how my quitting news started circulating, but I want to clarify that it is incorrect. I am very much a part of the show and will stay until the show is on.”
While we are glad that Mayur will be a part of the iconic comedy drama, there’s no update about Disha Vakani’s re-entry in the show. Recently it was stated that the makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has given a 30 day final ultimatum to Disha to return to the show, if she fails to return within the said period of time, she will be replaced by another TV actress.
