Think a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt is a basic thing which every guy must own. You cannot go wrong with this combination of blue jeans and a white shirt! It works for any place, wherever you are going, formal or casual.
According to me, a guy’s must-haves would include a couple of pairs of jeans, and shirts in white, black, and navy blue – that’s my choice as they go well with any jeans or bottoms. Also plain basic T-shirts in about 10 colours, like white, maroon, burgundy, black, grey, navy blue, dark blue, which will go with everything you wear.
I like camouflage pants like those military cargos so that’s something which I think a guy should have because it gives you a very rugged kind of an appeal. I also feel a black tuxedo or a plain black suit and a navy blue suit should also be part of your wardrobe because they can be repeatedly worn with different combinations of shirts and ties.
Speaking of shoes, I feel black, brown boots, black formal shoes, brown formal shoes, and a pair of floaters are important to complete the look. I like watches so I have a small collection of them. But I have these days where I’ll wear one watch for almost a week with everything I wear and then I’ll switch to something else.
When it comes to brands, I do like some particular ones like for basics I’ll go for Zara, for shoes — Steve Madden has a good collection, jeans — Guess or Diesel, and suits — Canali; I have three to four pairs of them.
