RRB NTPC Admit Card 2019: Exam dates expected soon, keep checking RRB websites for updates

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to begin the RRB NTPC exam 2019 soon. The candidates can check notifications related to the exam on the board's official website, rrbcdg.gov.in. According to Times now, the official notification – CEN 01/2019 says that the first stage CBT was expected to begin in the month of June. Once the date has been declared RRB would release the RRB NTPC Admit Cards on the official website.

The official RRB NTPC notification said "Dates for CBTs and other stages of recruitment process shall be intimated from time to time through the websites of the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB)", the wait of the applicants still continues. So candidates who have applied for the NTPC posts are advised to keep a check on the regional RRB websites for the latest updates. The candidates who have applied for more than 35,000 vacancies are waiting for a proper exam schedule since March after the completion of the NTPC registration process.

Earlier this month, an official from the Railway Board told indianexpress.com that it will take another three to four months for them to fix the exam date. More than 10 thousand vacancies out of 35208, in this recruitment, are for undergraduates. For selection to the NTPC category posts, there shall be two stage computer based test (CBT) followed by skill test (computer based aptitude test for station master and traffic assistant, typing skill test for junior clerk cum typist, junior time keeper, accounts clerk cum typist, senior clerk cum typist, junior account assistant cum typist and senior time keeper). For trains clerk, commercial cum ticket clerk, goods guard, senior commercial cum ticket clerk, commercial apprentice, there shall be two stage CBT. Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination.

After RRB had released application process, since then RRB has released three important notifications regarding the NTPC examination. RRC released a notification on March 14, 2019 regarding the examination process changes and other updates. In the notification, RRBs had informed the general public that the candidates shortlisted for the subsequent rounds under a certain category would be considered only for the same category throughout the selection process.

On April 20 and May 10, RRB released notifications regarding the revision in the vacancies of the posts. As per the notifications, the 69 posts of DLW were cancelled and removed from the vacancy list. Also, on May 10 RRBs had released another amendment in the vacancy table under which 66 vacancies were added to the Visually Impaired (VI) category candidates.
