Nagpur: The Orange city in the state of Maharashtra, Nagpur, woke up to the news of their hometown kid not only clearing the JEE Main 2022 exam with a 99.99 percentile but also becoming the state topper.

Adwai Krishna, who resides in Nagpur, lives with his father, mother, and elder sister and looks at IIT Bombay as his dream institute and sees JEE Mains just as a starting point to that goal.

“I prepared myself through the schedule provided by my institute which included 7 hours of lectures and assignments. Following that regular tests, doubt clearing sessions, revision, etc, were done by us depending on the days. Overall the preparation was very JEE-oriented,” said Adwai who focused on not wasting his time and paying attention to things that didn’t concern him. “I devoted my time and energy for studies but also found time to play sports, spend time with my family so as to keep everything balanced and stay relaxed,” added Adwai, who also tried to watch movies if he got a longer break to keep himself entertained but didn’t overdo the same.

When asked about the key points that JEE candidates should keep in mind while appearing for the exam, Adwai had a bunch of advice for them. “First of all you need to have interest in the process of JEE as it can be very competitive, so you need to find it interesting. You not only need to be in the right direction but also do hard and smart work that doesn’t leave any room for compromises,” recommended Adwai who added that while good and bad moments are a part and parcel of the journey, candidates always need to keep improving.

“My full focus is now on JEE Advance. Though I don’t have a fixation on where I want to study, IIT Bombay will always be a preference,” stated Adwai.
