Undergraduate Courses

HAFT – B.Sc. in Hotel Management & Catering Operations

Get Vocational

The course focuses on hotel operational skills, management practices and people skills required for continued learning in a changing global business environment. It aims to prepare students for employment in hotel and services management positions in India and abroad.

Eligibility: HSC (or equivalent) with minimum 50%. Selection for the sixty seats that are available will be made on the basis of an aptitude test followed by personal interviews

Duration: 3 years. Full time.

Course in Foundation Art

This course is recognised by the Directorate of Art, Maharashtra. Understanding the basic forms and fundamentals of drawing and designing is given utmost priority in this course.  Students are encouraged to explore the relationship between seeing and feeling. This course is also a pre-requisite for students who further wish to pursue their education in Applied Art or Textile Designing.

Eligibility: You need to have passed the SSC or equivalent examination, and also passed the Intermediate Drawing Grade Exam.

Duration: 1 year. Full time. Strength – 60 seats.

Course in Textile Design        

This course is recognised by the Directorate of Art, Maharashtra. This is a course in computer aided textile design where a student is taught to appreciate and develop her own values and design concepts in traditional and contemporary processes, using her resourcefulness and imagination. Printing and weaving, the two options of the course, provide training in surface designs and fabric structure.

Eligibility: Course in Foundation Art, mentioned above.

Duration: 2 years. Full time. Strength – 25 seats.

Course in Applied Art           

This course is recognised by the Directorate of Art, Maharashtra. It is a course in art and graphic design, and is an intensive and creative programme. Students are trained according to the professional ethics of the advertising world all through their four years.

Eligibility: Course in Foundation Art, mentioned above.

Duration: 4 years. Full time. Strength – 30 seats.

Post-Graduate Course

Social Communications Media Course

The Social Communications Media course, is a one-year post-graduate diploma course in mass communications. It trains young women to become accomplished mass media professionals by offering a knowledge base as well as technical skills in film, television, advertising, public relations, broadcast and print journalism.

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.

Applicants have to appear for an entrance exam which consists of a written test, group discussion and personal interview.

Duration: 1 year. Full time. Strength – 40 seats.

Craft course in Bakery and Confectionery     There is mystery in the way that simple ingredients – flour, water, yeast, salt, sugar – are transformed into bread or cake. But the process need not be mystifying. In fact, it is easy when you understand why. Revealing the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of bakery and confectionery and giving a hands-on experience, is the essence of this course. It engages beginners, enthusiasts and culinary professionals alike in a fascinating journey of culinary delights.

Eligibility: HSC with minimum 45%

Duration: 1 year. Full time. Strength – 24 seats.

Course in All-Round Restaurant Etiquette

The aim of this course is to grooming students in ‘Food and Beverage Service’ skills for basic service in restaurants and allied catering units – this course is for the economically underprivileged only.

Eligibility: SSC. The student needs to have appeared for the exam even though he/ she may not have cleared it. Open to boys and girls.

Duration: 1 year. Part time. Strength – 24 seats.

Hobby Course in The Dynamics of Baking & Patisserie       

This is a comprehensive course in bakery and confectionery, the three modules offered in this course take you on a journey from basic bakery to creative confectionery, covering over 60 recipes from different countries.

Eligibility: This course is open to all interested candidates.

Duration: 3 months. Part time. Strength – 30 seats.
