CBSE releases official Information Bulletin for CTET 2019, check at ctet.nic.in

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released notification for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019 exam. The candidates can check the notification on CTET’s official website, ctet.nic.in. CTET 2019 will be conducted on July 7, 2019. The online application process for CTET 2019 has begun. The last date of application is March 5, 2019.

The CBSE also released detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities, and other important dates. Any candidate having qualified BEd programme recognised by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. In the CTET information brochure, the CBSE has said, as per the existing TET guidelines (circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011), a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognised by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

Steps to apply for CTET 2019:

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website, ctet.nic.in

STEP 2: Go to the link ‘apply online’ and open the same

STEP 3: Fill in the online application form and note down registration/application number

STEP 4: Upload scanned images of the latest photograph and signature

STEP 5: Pay examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card

STEP 6: Print confirmation page for future reference
